Endoscopic Electrogastrography - 3CPM EGG  Technology Applied Directly to Inside of Stomach

As previously mentioned in the Patent News section of this newsletter, 3CPM has patented the technology to allow direct EGG recordings from the inside of the stomach, during a standard gastrointestinal endoscopy or EGD.

Prototype devices are soon to undergo validation testing at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  Once accomplished, Endoscopic EGG will allow,  for the first time, dynamic mapping of nerve and motility pathways in the stomach.

      According to the Chairman/Acting CEO Dr. Noar, this technology represents not only an enormous potential tool to advance our understanding of gastric motility, but also a large untapped market for 3CPM technology.

     With the recent major funding and interest in the technology of pacemaker implantation, especially in the newly defined and burgeoning field of obesity control,  the Endoscopic EGG is potentially the only non-surgical, non-invasive methodology available, which is being considered essential for the proper placement of gastric pacemakers in the treatment of obesity and other motility disorders.
