Indications for Use

Types of patients that would benefit from the procedure

Patients With:                                                                          

• Unexplained* nausea and vomiting

• Unexplained* Dyspepsia (upper abdominal discomfort, bloating, distention, early satiety)

• GERD plus(+) Dyspepsia symptoms

• Gastroparesis - See chart on right.

• *Normal upper Endoscopy, abdominal Ultrasound

Four General EGG diagnoses

• Gastric Dysrhythmia (Bradygastria, Tachygastria, mixed gastric Dysrhythmia)

• Mixed Dysrhythmia in Patients with GERD plus dyspepsia symptoms

• Strong 3 cpm seen in Gastric Outlet Obstruction

• Normal EGG pattern
